Things that we could learn by using public transportation :
1. That life full with uncertainty
every day we have this fixed schedule that we are going to leave the house with motorcycle taxi. Then it will take 5 minutes before reaching the main road and wait for the bus to go to the office. Approximately will take us about 25 minutes. Said who?
2. That we can't always get what we want
Sure, the last thing that we want is to have heavy rain in the morning when we leave the house to office or school or campus. Even with umbrella put on you are still going to get wet. Then soaking wet from the rain you have to face the cold air in the office from air condition... Funny to think that when the weather was hot, you don't feel the cool air ...
3. Learning to be patient
Lots of people getting stress out there thanks to the uncertainty and the not-being-able-to-get-everything-that-they-want. So, they started to be rude, selfish, pushy, and probably bully. We didn't strike back not because we are scared but...well, I am scare actually... Scare someone might tape me and upload it to Youtube... So, I just ignore these kind of people since they are going to get tired eventually
4. Learning to be unseemingly vicious (is that the correct word? LOL)
Anyone once in a while could get upset being pushed by others, or rude people who does not want to stand in line. My trick is to turn on my IPOD as loud as I can bear then if someone want to try to skip the queue by walking in front of me I silently just move forward. Blocking that person's way so he or she will not be able to stand in front of me and I did not have to fall into big silly argument.
Well, we will continue lesson in life while using public transportations. See you all on the next chapter ;)
